Mekell Barker Promoted to VP of Account Service, Hotels at Tambourine

September 12, 2022

Tambourine, the Fort Lauderdale-headquartered digital marketing technology company serving hotels, resorts, and tourism destinations worldwide, is excited to announce the promotion of Mekell Barker to Vice President of Account Service, Hotels. In the role, Barker will oversee the Account Service department, responsible for all hotel client relations.

“Mekell consistently brings forward-thinking solutions to the account service department and the company as a whole,” said Rafael Cardozo, CEO, Tambourine. “With credit to Mekell’s hard work, the department continues to grow to provide clients extra care and attention.

Tambourine takes pride in its white-glove service. The account service department sets the company apart from other hotel marketing firms as all lead account executives are certified hospitality digital marketers (CHDMs) and can provide strategic solutions and guidance for clients.

“Tambourine doesn’t sell a product and hand it off to a client to navigate it on their own. We provide thoughtful strategy in addition to hands-on assistance,” said Mekell Barker, VP of Account Service, Hotels, Tambourine. “We see ourselves as an extension of our clients’ marketing teams.”

Barker is a certified hospitality digital marketer (CHDM) and has been a part of Tambourine’s growth journey for nine years.
