We are growing, and are looking for a talented Backend PHP Developer to join our fast-growing team. In this role you will program on our proprietary marketing platform, Symphony. You will work closely with product managers and frontend developers to create custom modules and enhancements to the platform for improved efficiency, scalability and functionality. This position is based out of our office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

What you will be doing

  • Manage projects including but not limited to: web, print, and email marketing.
  • Work with staff and multiple client contacts to ensure superior quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance of client website functionality, and all creative projects.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks in accordance with available resources.
  • Oversee tasks assigned to various departments.
  • Make website updates in the Content Management System.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we need from you

  • Five (5) year experience in back-end development (required)
  • Advanced understanding of JavaScript Frameworks like VueJS and NodeJS.
  • Excellent Understanding of site development, application layouts and portals.
  • Advanced knowledge of MVC design pattern and PHP Frameworks (CodeIgnitor, Laravel, Symphony etc.)
  • Proficient with code versioning tools including Git.
  • Strong MySQL skills especially in schema design and query optimization.
  • Ability to develop and integrate with third-party complex APIs.
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google Cloud, Instagram, Facebook, ...)
  • Some exposure to front-end development with HTML / CSS / Javascript.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines with competing priorities.
  • Ability to present technical information in non-technical terms to co-workers and management.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered for this position.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
